About The Position

Moffitt Services is hiring a driver to support its growing business and customer needs. The role transports and delivers fuel to client locations using a fuel delivery truck, serving local and regional areas. The position requires a rotating schedule, typically 5 days on and 2 days off, and may include weekends and holidays. The position is not eligible for relocation. Competitive pay and benefits are offered after the probationary period.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of verifiable driving experience.
• At least 3 years of tanker experience.
• Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Clean background with no felonies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Operating and reliable cell phone for dispatch and GPS coordinates.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Availability to travel for disaster response.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to client locations.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and schedules.
• Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and established safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including quantities, locations, and customer signatures.
• Provide professional customer service and address inquiries and concerns during delivery stops.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and routes with the logistics team.
• Follow safety regulations and guidelines, including those for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
• Promptly report vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate timely repairs with the maintenance team.
• Keep the delivery truck clean and organized and stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
