About The Position

Moffitt Services is hiring a driver to support its growing fuel and lubricants distribution business and meet customer needs. The position involves transporting and delivering fuel to client locations in local and regional areas. Drivers operate and maintain fuel delivery trucks, handle bulk fuel, keep delivery and vehicle records, provide customer service, and coordinate with logistics and maintenance teams. The role requires adherence to safety procedures and applicable regulations, including safe handling of hazardous materials. The position is not eligible for relocation.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of verifiable driving experience.
• At least 3 years of tanker experience.
• Valid Class A or B commercial driver's license with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Clean background with no felonies.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks and operate delivery equipment.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Operating, reliable cell phone for dispatch and GPS coordinates.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• Availability to travel for disaster response.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and maintain a fuel delivery truck to transport and deliver fuel to client locations.
• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes to meet customer demands and schedules.
• Load and unload bulk fuel using appropriate equipment and established safety protocols.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, including quantities, locations, and customer signatures.
• Provide professional customer service and address inquiries or concerns during delivery stops.
• Coordinate with the logistics team on delivery schedules and route efficiency.
• Follow safety regulations and guidelines, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues and coordinate with the maintenance team on timely repairs.
• Keep the delivery truck clean and organized and stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.
