About The Position

Are you an experienced CDL driver looking for a local route where you get to be your own boss on the road and still sleep in your own bed every night? Look no further! At GFL Environmental, green isn’t just our color—it’s our passion. We’re looking for a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Front-End Driver to join our team in the Brunswick area. You’ll be operating high-powered front-load equipment, serving multi-family residential and commercial customers across assigned routes, and playing a vital role in keeping our community clean and green.

Requirements

A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) in good standing.
Minimum of 1 year of commercial truck driving experience OR a certificate from an accredited CDL school.
Ability to safely back up and operate heavy equipment in tight or high-traffic areas.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly, open corral gates, and perform physical pre/post-trip inspections.
A strong work ethic, safety-first mindset, and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Drive commercial front-load vehicles along assigned routes to service commercial customers and multi-family residential communities.
Use hydraulics and controls to lift and dump 3-to-4-yard containers smoothly and safely.
Positively interact with local businesses and community members along your daily route.
Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain accurate logbooks/productivity sheets, and follow all safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
Use key maps and GPS to navigate tight clearances and maneuvering spaces.
