About The Position

Sullivan Hauling provides reliable, safe, and flexible bulk and freight transportation solutions tailored to each customer's needs. With a diverse fleet, experienced drivers, and broker capabilities, the company supports construction, commodities, and general freight customers by delivering on time and maintaining dependable, straightforward logistics. This role involves operating T880 Tri Axle Dump Trucks to haul and unload various materials such as sand, topsoil, waste, and aggregates. Drivers will complete required inspections, maintain equipment cleanliness, and adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, OSHA requirements, and company safety standards. Responsibilities also include coordinating routes and deliveries with dispatch, plant personnel, and supervisors, ensuring accurate and on-schedule deliveries within a 150-air-mile radius, and assisting the team as needed under supervisor direction.

Requirements

  • 2+ years CDL Holder for Tri-Axle Dump Trucks
  • At least 2 years of experience in the field
  • Comfortable using GPS and following delivery directions
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Reasonably clean driving record over the past 5 years
  • No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years
  • Shows up on time, works reliably, and represents the company professionally on the road and at job sites.
  • Pays attention to equipment condition, load handling, and delivery details with minimal supervision.
  • Willing to learn routes, equipment, and company procedures.
  • Able to lift up to 100 lbs. as required
  • Able to work regularly in outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, noise, and weather.

Responsibilities

  • Operate T880 Tri Axle Dump Trucks
  • Haul & unload materials such as sand, topsoil, waste, and aggregates.
  • Complete required pre-trip and post-trip inspections and keep equipment clean.
  • Follow DOT regulations, traffic laws, OSHA requirements, and company safety standards.
  • Coordinate routes and deliveries with dispatch, plant personnel, and supervisors.
  • Deliver loads accurately and on schedule.
  • Travel within a typical 150-air-mile radius of the shop and return home nightly.
  • Assist the team as needed and follow the supervisor's direction.
