Requirements
- Valid Michigan Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
- Ability to lift and handle freight as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Previous CDL driving experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently throughout assigned routes in Michigan
- Load, unload, and verify accuracy of freight and deliveries
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and paperwork
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, and team members
- Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety standards and policies
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to designated locations
