About The Position

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Holland, MI Location. This is a local delivery position with the opportunity for overtime on Saturdays as needed. Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request, as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. Requirements

CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A driver’s license.
1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
Current DOT medical card.
Clean driving record.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Heavy Lifting experience.
Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.
Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.

Nice To Haves

Flatbed and Moffett experience desired.
Flatbed and Moffett operating experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely deliver products to the job site.
Physically unload material per the customer's request.
Receive materials in the warehouse.
Load trucks.
Process inventory.
Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one and two-story homes.
Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
Move materials and items from receiving to their designated area.
