About The Position

The Class A CDL Delivery Driver is responsible for providing customers with reliable and efficient delivery of all ERD products through merchandising and servicing. This role involves delivering and servicing products within assigned accounts, merchandising and stocking coolers to effectively sell products, calling on each account as scheduled, and managing, rotating, and maintaining neat inventory in each account. The driver must honor all personal and business commitments to customers, operate a company vehicle safely and courteously, obey all traffic regulations, and be responsible for the completion of all sales tickets, obtaining payment for products, and all related paperwork.

Requirements

• A high school diploma
• A clean motor vehicle record for the past three (3) years
• Must have a current valid Class A CDL and Medical Card
• Must have excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
• Excellent communication skills with customers and co-workers
• Strong knowledge of product characteristics
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgment and initiative
• Ability to deal with problems involving multiple solutions in standardized situations

Responsibilities

• Delivering and servicing all Eagle Rock Distributing Co products within assigned accounts
• Merchandising and stocking all coolers to effectively sell your product
• Calling on each account as scheduled
• Managing, rotating, and maintaining a neat inventory in each account
• Honoring all personal and business commitments to all customers
