About The Position

Fay, S&B USA Construction is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious CDL Driver to support heavy civil construction operations. The role transports heavy equipment, construction materials, and machinery to and from job sites and requires familiarity with DOT regulations and job site protocols. The driver operates commercial vehicles such as dump trucks, lowboys, and flatbeds, and coordinates with field crews and project managers to support deliveries and pickups.

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A or B license; Class A is preferred.
Tanker endorsement.
At least 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles in a construction environment.
Knowledge of DOT and OSHA safety regulations.
Ability to safely operate and maneuver vehicles in tight job site conditions.
Reliable and punctual, with the ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and some weekends.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience hauling heavy construction equipment.
Tanker and Hazmat endorsements.
Familiarity with bridge or highway job sites.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain Class A or B commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, lowboys, and flatbeds, to transport construction materials and equipment.
Safely and efficiently load and unload materials and equipment.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues.
Comply with federal, state, and local transportation laws and regulations.
Coordinate deliveries and pickups with field crews and project managers.
Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation.
