About The Position

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated CDL Driver to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in safely and efficiently transporting materials and equipment to and from job sites. This position requires travel, including out-of-state work in Oklahoma, Kansas, Arkansas, and Kentucky, with the potential for assignments in additional states as needed. Candidates must be willing and able to travel.

Requirements

  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (Class A)
  • Clean driving record with no recent accidents or violations.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a CDL Driver, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Solid knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver large commercial vehicles in various weather and road conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions and instructions.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maneuver various commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, end-dumps, flatbeds, and equipment trailers.
  • Transport construction materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance or safety issues.
  • Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportation.
  • Follow established routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and traffic laws.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors, and team members regarding delivery schedules, delays, and any issues encountered during transportation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and promptly report any mechanical issues or damages.
  • Other duties as assigned
