About The Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDL Driver / Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck and trailer to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. When not driving, you will actively support field operations as a laborer, assisting crews with a variety of construction related tasks. This is a traveling position, requiring flexibility to work at various job sites as needed.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
Clean driving record with no recent accidents or major violations
Minimum of 1 year of CDL driving experience
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
Ability to operate commercial vehicles in various road and weather conditions
Willingness to travel and work in the field as a laborer when not driving
Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and teamwork
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

Safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, end-dumps, flatbeds, and equipment trailers
Transport construction materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites
Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any maintenance or safety concerns
Properly secure cargo to prevent damage during transportation
Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and traffic laws
Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues
Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and report mechanical issues promptly
Assist crews with general construction labor including digging, loading, and material handling
Perform site preparation and cleanup, including removing debris and organizing materials
Support equipment operators by spotting, guiding, and maintaining safe work zones
Help install and maintain job site materials such as forms, barriers, and temporary structures
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
Assist with basic maintenance of equipment and tools
Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements and hazard recognition
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion
