About The Position

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CDL Driver / Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating a truck and trailer to transport materials and equipment to and from job sites. When not driving, you will actively support field operations as a laborer, assisting crews with a variety of construction related tasks. This is a traveling position, requiring flexibility to work at various job sites as needed.

Requirements

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements
  • Clean driving record with no recent accidents or major violations
  • Minimum of 1 year of CDL driving experience
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices
  • Ability to operate commercial vehicles in various road and weather conditions
  • Willingness to travel and work in the field as a laborer when not driving
  • Strong work ethic with a commitment to safety and teamwork
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding work
  • Strong communication and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Construction industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maneuver commercial vehicles, including dump trucks, end-dumps, flatbeds, and equipment trailers
  • Transport construction materials, equipment, and machinery to and from job sites
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report any maintenance or safety concerns
  • Properly secure cargo to prevent damage during transportation
  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage
  • Adhere to company safety policies, procedures, and traffic laws
  • Communicate with dispatch, supervisors, and team members regarding schedules, delays, or issues
  • Maintain a clean, organized vehicle and report mechanical issues promptly
  • Assist crews with general construction labor including digging, loading, and material handling
  • Perform site preparation and cleanup, including removing debris and organizing materials
  • Support equipment operators by spotting, guiding, and maintaining safe work zones
  • Help install and maintain job site materials such as forms, barriers, and temporary structures
  • Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
  • Assist with basic maintenance of equipment and tools
  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements and hazard recognition
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and physically demanding environments
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support project completion
