About The Position

Silver Dollar City is seeking licensed CDL Drivers with passenger and airbrake endorsements to join their Attractions Team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of guests from the parking lot to the park entrance and back. This role involves various duties within the parking lot, including traffic direction, maintaining cleanliness, crowd control, and operating a tram. The position requires comfort working in all weather conditions as Silver Dollar City operates rain or shine. Opportunities are available for both full-time schedules and occasional shifts for friendly, qualified drivers. This is a full-time seasonal position for 2026.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver's License.
• Must hold a valid Class B Missouri Commercial Driver's License, or equivalent based upon the GVWR of the vehicle, with passenger and air brake endorsements.
• Must complete DOT Physical, even if the driver holds a medical exemption.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to stand on uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete.
• Ability to walk up/down steps, uneven and sloped surfaces, including to and from assigned employee parking and work area (distance no greater than .5 miles one way).
• Ability to climb up and down stairs/ladders, uneven and sloped surfaces, and climb and descend on an employee shuttle bus.
• Ability to use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Ability to speak and hear clearly.
• Ability to see near/far, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color vision.
• Successful completion of a post job-offer drug screen.
• Participation in the random drug testing program.

Responsibilities

• Directing vehicle traffic to appropriate parking areas and into parking spaces.
• Assisting paid parking guests as necessary.
• Providing safe transportation to and from the park by driving trams and buses.
• Providing information and safety instructions to a large number of people.
• Assisting guests in locating their vehicles and directing them to waiting areas or walkways.
• Working in all weather conditions.
• Standing or walking for extended periods.
• Making announcements over a microphone.
• Reacting calmly and quickly in emergency situations.
• Keeping assigned areas clean of trash, natural debris, and bodily fluids.
• Working near moving mechanical parts.
• Following all applicable DOT regulations, including completing a driver qualification file, tracking hours of service, and reporting hours worked to/for other employers if applicable.
• Remaining eligible per DOT guidelines to function in the CDL Driver position.
