About The Position

At Glazer’s Beer & Beverage, we are looking for a skilled CDL Driver to join our Team. This role is responsible for the accurate delivery of products as invoiced to licensed accounts or between company locations. The driver will service customers by ensuring timely deliveries, accurate check-in, and storage of products. This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the employee to perform job-related tasks without posing a direct threat to their safety or the safety of others. This role requires regular, ongoing in-office presence, with employees expected to work onsite, including non-company locations where business is conducted, the majority of the time to support collaboration, productivity, and business operations according to the schedule set by supervisors and/or branch management.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalency; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • One year of driver experience
  • Must be 21 years of age or older for commercial motor vehicle
  • Valid CMV / CDL / Class A or B license
  • Must be able to lift 40-50 lbs. for an extended period
  • Able to perform job-related task without hindering the safety of employee or others

Responsibilities

  • Always drive equipment in a professional and safe manner
  • Deliver products as invoiced to specified licensed retailers
  • Check-in invoiced orders with customers in a friendly, courteous manner
  • Collect and return all payments as required
  • Account for all invoices of merchandise delivered and merchandise returned
  • Complete appropriate paperwork throughout the delivery process
  • Ensure truck check-in procedures are followed daily
  • Ensure truck service and safety issues are reported daily
  • Maintain an accurate DOT logbook, if required
  • Must always follow DOT Regulations
  • Attend monthly safety meetings
  • Attend required safety courses and other classes as needed
  • Report any local, state, or federal moving violations to management
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
