About The Position

As a CDL B Driver under the general supervision of the Logistics Specialist, you will deliver and unload completed trucks, chassis, and parts to dealerships as well as other Dejana locations. You will also be responsible for minor truck and trailer maintenance. Deliveries are made within the North East Region of the US.

Requirements

Ability to read and speak English as required by federal regulations.
Familiarity with manual logbooks.
Team-player with a strong work ethic; courteous, flexible, punctual and professional.
Level-headed, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious.
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Valid and clean CDL Class A or B with no Air Brake Restriction.
Current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Responsibilities

Effectively using maps and directions to ensure most economical use of time and equipment
Accurately maintaining daily driver log book
Performing pre-check and post check inspections of vehicles as minor maintenance
Having good communication skills(written and verbal) and the ability to follow instructions
Maintaining a clean driving record with a high level of safety awareness on the roadways
Properly assessing site locations in advance of truck delivery/pickup to ensure adequate access for safe operations
Performing all responsibilities and duties during inclement weather within safe operating standards
Performing other duties as assigned
