About The Position

Waste Connections is seeking experienced and safety-minded CDL Drivers to join their growing team in McKinney, Texas. This role involves safely operating a CDL Truck for residential garbage collection, servicing routes with timely pickups and deliveries, and operating lifting systems. The job offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule with a 6 AM start, approximately 50-60 hours per week, and requires clear communication with dispatchers and customers, as well as daily pre/post-trip inspections.

Requirements

Class A or B CDL with airbrakes
Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience
Clean MVR and safety-first mindset
Physically able to lift 75+ lbs., climb in/out of truck, and work outdoors in all conditions

Responsibilities

Safely operate a CDL Truck from our McKinney yard—start and end your shift in the same location.
Service residential routes with timely pickups and deliveries.
Operate hydraulic and automated lifting systems to load/unload materials and containers.
Communicate clearly with dispatchers and customers.
Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
