Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
- Clean driving record with a strong commitment to safety
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) rules
- Ability to load and unload freight and perform physical tasks as needed
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with strong time management skills
- Previous commercial driving experience preferred
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently throughout Ohio and assigned routes
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Load, unload, and verify freight accuracy at pickup and delivery locations
- Maintain accurate driver logs, delivery records, and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route status and any delays
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws
- Represent Advance Distribution Inc professionally at all customer locations
