About The Position
Join our growing team! We are looking to hire for multiple openings in our transportation department. · Monday – Friday (no weekends or overnights). Local deliveries only in Rhode Island. · OT paid after 8 hours daily · Paid holidays and other paid time off including vacation and sick time for seniority employees.
Requirements
- Possess a current/valid Class A or Class B CDL license, DOT medical card, a clean DMV record and registered with FMCSA Clearinghouse
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Excellent customer relation skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English and accurately count to complete all documentation
- Must be able to consistently move/lift cases of product with weights between 25-100+ pounds.
Responsibilities
- Make deliveries to our customer’s locations
- Provides excellent customer service to all of our customers.
- Unloads product using hand truck and/or pallet jack. Places product in designated storage area
- Verify the accuracy of delivery with customers and obtains proper signatures
- Maintains paperwork; invoices, credits, manifests, returns, and safety check of vehicle
