About The Position

Ferguson is hiring a CDL professional in Brookshire, Texas, to move loads between inbound and outbound doors and perform related delivery, warehouse, and vehicle-safety duties. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime as required. The position offers daily home time and no nights or weekends. Pay is listed at $20.22–$32.30 per hour, and the role is eligible for a bonus or incentive plan. Pre-employment drug and background screening are required.

Requirements

Valid Class A or Class B CDL.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a DOT Medical Card or be able to acquire one.
Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
Good communication and customer service skills.
General digital literacy.
Ability to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

1–3 years of commercial truck driving experience is strongly preferred.
Background in warehouse operations and logistics, including shipping, receiving, and delivery.

Responsibilities

Move loads between inbound and outbound doors.
Deliver materials to customers, assist with loading and unloading, and ensure the delivery ticket accompanies the material.
Pick up customer returns and validate product matches for credit requests.
Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fuel the truck as needed, and report problems or issues to a supervisor.
Follow Department of Transportation standards and regulations.
Follow and implement company safety policies and procedures.
Assist warehouse personnel with pulling and preparing orders for shipment and with receiving, verifying, staging, and stocking incoming material.
Work overtime as needed.
