About The Position

The CDL Driver/Warehouse employee makes local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites and supports day-to-day warehouse operations. The role involves safely operating vehicles and truck-mounted and warehouse forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, and handling products according to company safety, material-handling, and load-securement policies. The employee also maintains delivery records, communicates with the supply center team and customers, supports inventory accuracy and quality, and assists with receiving and pulling products.

Requirements

At least 1 year of driving experience.
Clean driving record, with no more than 3 violations in the previous 3 years.
Ability to pass a drug screen.
Ability to read and interpret safety policies and procedures.
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to lift or move up to 100 lbs.
Ability to stand, walk, and move frequently.

Nice To Haves

Experience with building products is helpful.

Responsibilities

Make local deliveries to residential and commercial job sites.
Safely and efficiently operate vehicles, truck-mounted forklifts, and warehouse forklifts.
Assist with day-to-day warehouse operations while following safety practices and wearing required PPE.
Load and unload trucks.
Maintain accurate checklists and delivery logs.
Follow DOT regulations, company safety policies, material-handling practices, and load-securement policies.
Communicate with the supply center team and customers to support accurate, on-time delivery.
Review inventory discrepancies and notify the Branch Manager.
Receive and pull products accurately to maintain correct inventory.
Ensure merchandise is properly racked and tagged.
Assist the Warehouse Supervisor and Branch Manager with inventory accuracy and quality.
