About The Position

Wild River, Rogue Valley Door's inhouse distributor, is seeking a CDL Driver/Warehouse person. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, transporting products from distribution centers to customer locations, and potentially overnight travel. When not driving, the employee will assist in the warehouse. A valid CDL license and the ability to drive a manual transmission truck are required. Pay is based on experience (DOE).

Requirements

Must have a valid CDL license (Class A or B).
Must be certified to drive a manual transmission truck.
Commitment to safety and accuracy with stellar attention to detail in all procedures and operations.
Understanding of the importance of delivering a quality product in a timely manner.
Ability to perform physical activity including repetitive use of hands & arms, lifting, carrying, standing, walking, bending, twisting, turning, pushing & pulling.
Ability to lift up to 75+ lbs. on occasion.
Ability to work well under pressure and independently.
Outstanding work ethic, self-motivation, and a teamwork/positive attitude.

Responsibilities

Load and unload the truck.
Transport product from distribution centers to customer locations and/or other locations using a truck.
Assist in the Warehouse when not transporting.
Follow all safety rules and regulations, with a "Safety First" approach.
Drive loads short distances, with one night layover per week.
Learn how to administer production reports.
Interact professionally with RVD/Wild River customers.
Check mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
Read customer orders.
Perform general duties as assigned.
