About The Position

Kwik Trip is offering a unique opportunity for individuals to become CDL Drivers through a paid training program. This program includes paid CDL school tuition and a guaranteed job upon completion. Trainees will start as Delivery Assistants, gaining experience before transitioning to CDL Driver Trainees. The role involves assisting with unloading products, stocking stores, and working in various conditions. Upon completion of the training and apprenticeship, drivers can expect an average annual salary of $92,000, including safety/performance bonuses.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old to be a Delivery Assistant
• At least 21 years old to be a CDL Driver Trainee
• Excellent driving record in accordance with Kwik Trip’s driving matrix
• Ability to meet DOT requirements upon completion of training (DOT drug screen and DOT physical)
• Willing to sign contract to enter Kwik Trip’s CDL Tuition Reimbursement Program
• Commitment to accept a driving position with Kwik Trip upon completion of apprenticeship
• Must live within 60 miles/60 minutes of La Crosse.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with unloading up to 30,000 pounds of product at Kwik Trip Stores
• Placing products in the correct location (cooler, freezer, backroom)
• Working with minimal supervision in a safety-conscious environment
• Working in a variety of weather/temperature conditions
