About The Position

Vi at Bentley Village is seeking a CDL Driver On-Call to transport residents to and from appointments and outings. This role is responsible for ensuring residents receive all appropriate assistance during outings and fulfilling all operational tasks involving driving. The position offers various shifts and is located at 2315 Leisure Lane, Naples, FL 34110.

Requirements

Minimum 6 months of experience as a bus/van driver.
Valid and current driver's license for vehicle class driven at time of hire.
Willingness and ability to obtain a CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
Current CPR and First Aid certifications required or willingness and ability to obtain them.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must possess and maintain a clean DMV driving record.
Knowledge of the surrounding neighborhood area.
Excellent communication skills, patience, and the ability to deal with stress and the needs of older adults.
Ability to use a client and customer-focused approach to problem solving and goal setting.
Sensitivity to the needs of older adults.
Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.

Responsibilities

Transporting residents to and from appointments and outings using community vehicles (bus, van, limousine, sedan, and trams).
Ensuring residents receive all appropriate assistance during outings.
Fulfilling all operational tasks involving driving.
