The Delivery Merchandiser – Small Store Relief CDL is a touch freight position responsible for delivering and rotating stock, as well as merchandising shelves, racks, equipment, and displays to Company standards. This role requires a high degree of flexibility to cover open needs of the driver team and involves transporting and unloading products to retail outlets. The position works in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success, establishing positive relationships with customers and providing superior customer service. It also involves providing feedback to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities, communicating store-level issues to management, and complying with DOT rules for driving. The role includes collecting breakage or out-of-date product, accurate accounting for cases and transactions, ensuring proper care of product and equipment, and maintaining backstock in an organized manner. Additionally, the Delivery Merchandiser assists with training and coaching delivery merchandiser trainees and builds strong relationships with the customer base.
