About The Position

We are looking for a CDL DRIVER MENTOR to join our team in Farmersville, TX. As a CDL Driver Mentor with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will be responsible for training drivers in the safe and efficient operation of ready-mix trucks while performing deliveries to residential and industrial job sites. Duties include coordinating with Dispatch and Batch Plant Supervisors, maintaining equipment cleanliness and minor maintenance, supporting safe batch plant operations, and ensuring strict safety procedures are followed when backing and working alongside teammates. When not mentoring another driver, the mentor will work as a Ready-Mix Driver.

Requirements

The Driver Mentor MUST have a minimum of 5-years of Ready-Mix Driving Experience.
The driver must possess a valid state commercial driver's license (CDL) - Class A or B.

Driver must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system and use the truck tracking system correctly & efficiently.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers and appropriately represent the Company.
