About The Position

This part-time position is responsible for the safe and efficient loading and delivery of materials. The role emphasizes core values such as high character, trust, and performance, along with providing distinctive quality and unparalleled customer service. The driver will operate company trucks, trailers, and forklifts, maintain a valid Class A CDL, and load/unload various products. Building customer relationships, adhering to FMCSA and workplace safety regulations, and working as a team player are also key aspects of the role. The position requires a positive attitude, self-motivation, and strong problem-solving skills.

Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Good driving record.
Positive, friendly attitude and great customer service skills are a must!
Self-motivated with the ability to work with little supervision.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
Lifting anything >100 lbs requires additional personnel and utilizing a dolly or forklift if possible.
Be able to sit or stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

Previous tractor-trailer experience desired.
Forklift certification is desired.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently operate company trucks, trailers and forklifts.
Maintain a valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Load and unload lumber and sheet metal with equipment or by hand.
Manually unload/deliver various products to customer locations as assigned.
Build relationships with customers, becoming familiar with their operations, needs & expectations.
Abide by FMCSA regulations.
Learn and adhere to workplace safety regulations.
Work as a team player by filling in as needed.
Provide all customer feedback to management.
Other duties as assigned.
