About The Position
GFL Environmental is hosting a 100% Virtual Hiring Event to find dedicated Drivers and Operators to join their family in Sedalia, MO. This event allows candidates to meet the leadership team and interview for a career-changing role via Google Meet, without needing to commute to an office. The event is scheduled for Friday, May 1st, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM (CST), with on-the-spot interviews and offers based on experience.
Requirements
- Valid Class A or B CDL (for CDL Drivers)
- 1+ years commercial driving experience OR a CDL school certificate (for CDL Drivers)
- Ability to operate equipment safely (for CDL Drivers)
- Age 21+ for safety-sensitive functions (for CDL Drivers)
- Valid Driver’s License (for Heavy Equipment Operators)
- General equipment operation experience (for Heavy Equipment Operators)
- Willingness to learn and grow (for Heavy Equipment Operators)
- Age 18+ (for Heavy Equipment Operators)
- Basic hand tools (and a willingness to acquire more) (for Heavy Equipment Operators)
- High School Diploma/GED preferred (for CDL Drivers)
- High School Diploma/GED (for Heavy Equipment Operators)
- Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located
- Ability to provide valid documentation confirming eligibility to work
Responsibilities
- Operate CDL vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
- Learn and grow in equipment operation skills.
