About The Position

Deliver feed and other products to customers promptly, providing outstanding customer service and satisfaction. Perform general feed labor and support feed manufacturing operations as required. The role includes driving commercial vehicles, operating feed-manufacturing equipment, preparing livestock feed, and assisting with facility and equipment upkeep.

Requirements

At least one year of verifiable experience operating a commercial vehicle.
Maintain a Class A CDL.
Excellent driving record.
Demonstrate excellent attendance and reliability.
Ability to work in all weather conditions.
Ability to drive a manual-shift quad-axle or semi-truck.
Ability to sweep out a load from the truck or underneath the truck, if necessary.
Ability to climb in and out of the truck multiple times per day and climb a truck ladder to inspect the load.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Deliver feed and other products from the location to producers in the immediate area in a timely manner.
Follow all legal regulations and guidelines required to maintain a commercial driver’s license.
Assist with feed manufacturing and housekeeping as assigned.
Maintain necessary paperwork and documentation.
Perform daily truck inspections and inform the supervisor of required maintenance or repairs.
Promote teamwork within the cooperative and maintain a favorable image of the cooperative in the community.
Operate feed-manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
Mix and prepare livestock feeds accurately and to a high-quality standard.
Determine proper routing and distribution of manufactured feeds to appropriate holding bins.
Assist with equipment maintenance and repair as needed.
Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
Perform general facility work and other duties assigned by management.
Maintain a professional image and provide superior customer service.
