About The Position

The Buehler’s Truck Driver is a vital position within our Warehouse Department. This role is responsible for safely loading and unloading products, operating an 18-wheel semi to and from various locations, and managing deliveries. The position requires a CDL Class A license and involves a four-day work week with ten-hour shifts on the 3rd shift. Drivers are expected to perform pre-trip inspections, handle recycled waste, deliver internal mail, and return equipment. This is a non-exempt hourly position with the opportunity for occasional overtime and requires travel.

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload products from Warehouse and Central Kitchen
  • Operate 18-wheel semi to and from Warehouse and Store locations
  • Responsible for bringing back all recycled waste
  • Empty pallets
  • Deliver internal store mail
  • Return all necessary Food Service and Bakery equipment to the Warehouse
  • Perform a “pretrip” their assigned truck and report any and all issues to the Warehouse Manager
  • Deliver produce to the stores using the Produce Truck
  • Manage and unload any late inbound deliveries
