About The Position

We are currently seeking a skilled CDL Class A /Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for the precise and safe operation of various heavy machinery, including forklifts, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency. Requirements

CDL Class A required.
Proficiency in operating forklifts and other heavy machinery.
Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations governing heavy equipment operation.
Ability to achieve high levels of accuracy and efficiency in material placement and balance.
Experience with tracking and updating shipment statuses.
Ability to perform scheduled maintenance tasks and minor repairs on equipment.
Commitment to completing pre- and post-operation equipment checks to ensure safe operation.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Physical stamina and ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organized work area.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience as a heavy equipment operator or similar role preferred.
Previous experience operating a 260 D9 60000 lb forklift.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
Accurately move, position, load, and balance materials to support production and shipping operations.
Load and unload materials, equipment, and finished products.
Complete required pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections.
Perform routine cleaning, basic maintenance, and minor repairs on assigned equipment.
Identify and report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
