About The Position

SiteOne Landscape Supply is the largest national distributor of landscaping products across the United States and Canada, providing wholesale goods for green industry professionals. They offer an extensive inventory including irrigation, lighting, turf and landscape maintenance, hardscapes, nursery, and pest control supplies. As a CDL Driver, you will operate a SiteOne vehicle to deliver landscape, nursery, forestry, and irrigation products to customers. Responsibilities also include loading and unloading trucks and collaborating with teammates to ensure successful branch operations. The position utilizes in-vehicle dash cameras to enhance safety for drivers, the workforce, and the public, and to assist in critical situations.

Requirements

Valid Class A CDL license
Ability to read and write to record and maintain daily records
Ability to perform physical requirements such as bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head on a daily basis
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ready and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of working

Nice To Haves

Bilingual Proficiency - candidates who are conversational in English/Spanish are preferred
Experience operating a Manual shift may be preferred
Experience operating a Moffett or other truck-mounted forklift may be preferred
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Operate vehicle in accordance with local, state and federal transportation regulations
Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customers
Cultivate and manage strong relationships with customers
Assist customers with their questions and needs, either in person or over the phone
Pull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or delivery
Partner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance
Assist with other branch responsibilities as needed
Do no obstruct or interfere with in-vehicle dash cameras, which must remain on during working time. Cameras may be turned off during off-duty time.
Adhere to all SiteOne safety and security protocols, including but not limited to required use of in-vehicle dash cameras.
