About The Position

Hammond Lumber Company is seeking full-time and part-time CDL Delivery Drivers for its Portland, Maine location. The role involves handling and transporting building materials, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment, making customer deliveries, and providing customer service. The position requires heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Final applicant must comply with USDOT testing requirements.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience handling building materials is a plus.
• Spider truck or boom truck experience is a plus, but not required.
• Preferred candidate will have a clean and valid Class A or B driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to pick, load, unload, and store materials in the yard.
• Make customer deliveries using Class B or Class A equipment.
• Provide customer service.
• Perform work requiring heavy lifting.
