About The Position
Hammond Lumber Company is hiring a full-time CDL Delivery Driver for its Waterville, Maine location. The driver operates material-handling equipment in the yard and makes customer deliveries using Class A or Class B equipment. The position includes heavy lifting and providing customer service.
Requirements
- A clean and valid Class A or Class B driver's license is preferred.
- The final applicant must comply with USDOT testing requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience is a plus, but is not required.
- Experience handling building materials is a plus.
- Spider truck or boom truck experience is a plus, but is not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to pick, load, unload, and store materials in the yard.
- Make customer deliveries using Class A or Class B equipment.
- Provide customer service.
- Perform duties requiring heavy lifting.
