About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CDL Class B Regional Driver to join our team at GFI Oregon in Milwaukie, OR. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range and a focus on providing excellent service to our customers. You will be responsible for safe and efficient delivery of products, maintaining load temperatures, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. Requirements

• Minimum age: 21 years old.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year of CDL-B driving required
• Valid CDL License.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to step up 17 inches and climb up to three rungs of a ladder.
• Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
• Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.
• You voluntarily consent to a pre-employment drug screen, and a background check will be required for the hiring process. Background checks can include but are not limited to previous employment, education, and criminal records.

Responsibilities

• Performing all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items, and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing the "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Driving to and delivering customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations, and GFI procedures and protocols
• Maintaining load temperatures according to load specifications
• Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing them in designated customer storage areas.
• Verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures; collecting money (cash or checks) when required; contacting management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicating all errors/returns.
