About The Position

Heritage Landscape Supply is seeking a safety-conscious, self-motivated team player to join their family as a Local CDL Class B Driver. This role involves safely delivering products to customers' businesses or job sites within a maximum radius of the home branch. Deliveries start and end at the branch, with no overnight stays, and overtime opportunities are available during busy seasons. Requirements

Valid CDL License - Class B
Safe driving record with no hit & runs or DWI/DUI convictions within the last three years; accidents and/or severe violations in the last year will be reviewed by HR and Management.
Basic computer knowledge.
Ability to lift 50 pounds on a repetitive basis.
Able to pass a background check, pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.

Nice To Haves

Prior commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations are a plus.
Forklift experience is helpful.
Other type of truck experience ie: Moffett, etc.

Responsibilities

Prioritize safety above all else and comply with all DOT regulations while operating a commercial vehicle.
Load, unload, and stage orders in a warehouse or job site environment.
Deliver to customer sites and branch locations, unloading products as needed.
Understand and adhere to FMCSA regulations.
Perform additional related duties, such as stocking, order entry, shipping, and receiving.
Maintain delivery, truck, and driving records by obtaining signed delivery receipts, recording tracking information, and completing driver log and truck performance forms.
