About The Position
Sewer Cleaning Company, LLC is hiring a CDL Class B Driver / Vactor & Hydro Excavation Operator to join their team in Northeast Ohio. This is a local, home-every-night position with consistent Monday–Friday hours, overtime opportunities, and paid training. The role involves operating combination Vactor and hydro excavation trucks on commercial, municipal, industrial, and residential projects. While experience with vacuum trucks or hydro excavation is helpful, it is not required as the company will train the right candidate.
Requirements
- Valid Ohio Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement
- 21+ years old due to insurance requirements
- Insurable driving record
- No DUI within the last 5 years
- No more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years
- Must pass DOT drug screen, DOT physical, background check, and MVR review
- Able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Comfortable working outdoors in all Ohio weather
- Willing to work overtime and occasional Saturdays
Nice To Haves
- Experience with vacuum trucks or hydro excavation is helpful
Responsibilities
- Operate Vactor and hydro excavation trucks
- Perform hydro excavation around gas, water, and electric utilities
- Clean catch basins, storm drains, manholes, lift stations, grease traps, and sanitary lines
- Perform high-pressure jetting and vacuum work
- Haul and properly dispose of debris
- Set up work zones and traffic control
- Maintain, fuel, grease, and inspect your truck
