About The Position

Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Class B Driver - Operator for a career that offers nightly returns home, including weekends off. The role involves hands-on outdoor work and driving within a safety-first culture. This position is ideal for individuals interested in learning all aspects of safely handling explosives, including inventory, loading, unloading, and transporting products at a local distribution center and customer job sites. The successful candidate will be an instrumental team member, driving and operating Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMU's) and learning the technical aspects of staging products in the field. The role requires a balance of driving and active, hands-on work, with the ability to lift 50 lbs, and offers job satisfaction from a full day's work, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

CDL w/ Tanker/Hazmat endorsements (consideration will be given to CDL holders needing endorsements)
Clean driving record
Ability to lift 50#

Responsibilities

Safely handle explosives as you inventory, load, unload, transport product at our local distribution center and customer job sites
Drive and operate MMU's (Mobile Manufacturing Unit)
Learn the technical aspects of staging our product in the field at customer job sites
Be hands-on, boots on the ground and staying active (ability to lift 50#)
Put in a full day's work Monday - Friday
