About The Position
Austin Powder Company is hiring a local CDL Class B Driver - Operator in Inwood, West Virginia. The role involves safely handling explosives, including inventorying, loading, unloading, and transporting product between the local distribution center and customer job sites. The operator also drives and operates Mobile Manufacturing Units (MMUs) and learns the technical aspects of staging product in the field at customer sites. This is a hands-on, active, outdoor position that combines driving with on-the-ground work and requires the ability to lift 50 pounds. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with drivers home nightly and no weekend work. The company emphasizes safety and offers local and nationwide advancement opportunities.
Requirements
- CDL Class B; consideration will be given to CDL holders who still need tanker and hazardous materials endorsements.
- Clean driving record.
