About The Position

Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Class B Driver - Operator who is looking for a career to be home nightly, including weekends. This role involves being hands-on, working outdoors, and driving in a safety-first culture. The position offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of safely handling explosives, including inventory, loading, unloading, and transporting product at local distribution centers and customer job sites. Drivers will also operate MMU's (Mobile Manufacturing Units) and learn the technical aspects of staging product in the field at customer job sites. The ideal candidate enjoys driving but also wants a balance of being hands-on, boots on the ground, and staying active, with the ability to lift 50 lbs. This is a Monday-Friday position with job satisfaction from a full day's work.

Requirements

CDL Class B with Tanker/Hazmat endorsements (consideration given to CDL holders needing endorsements).
Clean driving record.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Willingness to work Monday - Friday.
Interest in learning all aspects of safely handling explosives.

Responsibilities

Safely handle explosives, including inventory, loading, unloading, and transporting product.
