About The Position

GFI Northwest is seeking a full-time CDL Class A Regional Driver for their Sumner, WA location. This position offers a competitive salary range of $78,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, with a guaranteed minimum salary and monthly safety bonuses. The role involves regional driving with consistent schedules, dedicated routes, and the opportunity to be home daily. Requirements

  • Minimum age of 21.
  • Valid CDL License (Class A or B, depending on route requirements).
  • TWIC card required.
  • Refrigeration experience required.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 75 lbs.
  • Ascend and descend a step up to 17 inches from the floor.
  • Climb up and down 3 rungs of a ladder, with the first rung at 21 inches from the ground.
  • Consistent, regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
  • Employees must be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed to support business and operational needs.

  • Minimum one year of CDL Class A driving experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Performing all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing the "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
  • Driving to and delivering customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations, and GFI procedures and protocols.
  • Maintaining load temperatures according to load specifications.
  • Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing them in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures; collecting money (cash or checks) when required; contacting management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicating all errors/returns.
