Regional Class A CDL Driver
About The Position
Drivers are responsible for transporting intermodal containers and van freight from warehouse to customer sites. This is a full-time, 2nd shift position with some weekend work, offering load pay and 100% no-touch freight, with drivers being home daily. Requirements
- Smart Phone
- MINIMUM of 2 years of recent driving experience with a Class A CDL
- Must be 25 years of age
- Accident Free
- Clean MVR Report
- Must be able to pass a drug test
Nice To Haves
- TWIC Card is not necessary but highly preferred
Responsibilities
- Delivering van freight
- Delivering container freight
- Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers.
- Following all Traffic Laws
- Reporting to Dispatcher any incidents encountered on the road
- Inspect the truck & trailer before and after the trip, and record any defects found.
- Keep the truck clean and in good working order.
- Take the required break during trips.
- Reporting any mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
