About The Position

We are looking for a highly motivated, professional driver for a company-owned truck position at the Venice, FL Terminal. This is a full-time, W2 position for an Over-The-Road (OTR) / Nationwide driver. Compensation is calculated on a per-mile basis for all odometer/GPS miles (full & empty), with an average weekly gross of approximately $2,000 - $2,500 based on experience. Additional pay and bonuses are available, including extra stop pay and per-diem tax benefits. Veterans are encouraged to apply. No mandatory vaccines are required.

Requirements

Class A CDL
Current DOT Physical
No DOT record/preventable accidents in the past 12 months
No major violation in the past 36 months (reckless driving or careless endangerment)
No more than 3 minor violations during the last 3 years, with no more than 2 violations in the same 12-month span
No DUI in the past 60 months (5 years)
Overall safe driving record
Must have a TWIC card or obtain it within 30 days of employment
No positive drug/alcohol tests
Minimum of 2 years of experience
Experience pulling a 53' dry van or refrigerated trailer
Must speak English
Drivers with Vehicular Homicide, Alcohol or drug-related offense in a commercial vehicle, Hit and run, Theft of a motor vehicle, Driving while license is revoked, or 3 or more chargeable accidents in the past 3 years are not eligible.
Drivers without a valid CDL are not eligible.

Responsibilities

Operate a company-owned truck on OTR/Nationwide routes.
Transport loads from SE to NW and NW to SE, avoiding North East States.
Handle 90% no-touch loads; driver-assist loads will receive extra pay.
Manage easy paperwork and utilize a fuel card and cash advance for OTR expenses.
Ensure compliance with Federal and Florida DOT and HOS rules.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues as needed.
Maintain a safe driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
