Local CDL Class A Hazmat Truck Driver
About The Position
BRT, Inc., a family-owned carrier, is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for local liquid bulk petroleum deliveries in the Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania area. This is a full-time local driving role with daily home time and newer, well-maintained equipment featuring state-of-the-art technology. Drivers can choose among several start-time and schedule options: 6 AM at $30 per hour, 4 AM at $30 per hour, or 4 PM at $32 per hour, each on a rotating 5/2–5/3 schedule; or 6 PM at $29 per hour on a set Sunday–Thursday schedule. Overtime is paid after 40 hours, and the listed average workweek is 50–52 hours. The role includes at least three weeks of paid training and eligibility for a performance-based bonus after six months. Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- At least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
