Local CDL Class A Hazmat Truck Driver
About The Position
BRT, Inc. is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers with Tanker and Hazmat endorsements for local liquid bulk petroleum deliveries in the Reading, Pennsylvania area. This is a full-time local driving role with daily home time and rotating schedule options. Drivers can choose a 3 PM start at $32 per hour or a 3 AM start at $30 per hour; both schedules rotate 5/2–5/3 and pay overtime after 40 hours. Drivers average 50–52 hours per week. The position includes a performance-based bonus after six months and a minimum of three weeks of paid training. Drivers operate newer, well-maintained equipment with state-of-the-art technology. BRT, Inc. has been family-owned since 1980 and emphasizes safety, quality equipment, regular work schedules, and long-term relationships with its drivers.
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
- At least one year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
- Clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
- Safety-conscious, organized, and self-motivated attitude.
