About The Position

GMI is seeking a dependable and safety‑focused CDL Class A Driver to join our team in Southlake, Texas. This role is responsible for the safe, timely, and professional transportation of materials or equipment using combination vehicles while complying with DOT regulations and company safety standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their driving record, works well independently, and represents GMI professionally. Requirements

  • Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport materials and goods to various job sites.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload materials efficiently, ensuring proper handling and securing of items.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding delivery status and any issues.
  • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the vehicle.
  • Participate in ongoing training and safety programs as required.
