About The Position

Capital Hauling is seeking Class A CDL Drivers in the Jefferson City and Columbia area. Successful candidates should have a clean driving record. Some prior experience driving in a construction setting is desirable. Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A
• Clean driving records
• Must be punctual, have a strong work ethic, and maintain a good attendance record.
• Previous experience driving experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Excellent communication skills to interact at all levels.
• Work overtime, nights, and weekends, as needed.
• Willing to travel/work out of town.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Communicate regularly with the dispatcher.
• Ensure a safe work environment while maintaining compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
• Driver will be assigned loads, report as directed to the job site and complete a work order daily for that job.
• Driver is expected to perform daily truck inspections.
• Maintain truck logs or time recordings.
• Other duties as assigned.
