About The Position

FreeBird Poultry is hiring a CDL Class A Driver for a regional, home-daily position transporting finished poultry products to distribution centers. This is not an over-the-road role. Drivers can expect consistent routes, steady earnings, and the ability to be home every day.

Requirements

• Valid CDL Class A license
• Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience
• Clean driving record (MVR)
• Ability to pass DOT drug screening and background check
• Experience with ELD systems and Hours of Service (HOS) compliance
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• Comfortable working in refrigerated and outdoor environments

Responsibilities

• Pick up loaded trailers from the processing facility
• Deliver products to customer locations and distribution centers
• Assist with unloading and pallet breakdowns as needed
• Return empty trailers and perform equipment inspections
• Maintain cleanliness of tractor and trailer
• Complete ELD logs, pre- and post-trip inspections, and required documentation
• Operate in compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Communicate with dispatch to ensure timely deliveries
