About The Position

Raw Seafoods is seeking a CDL Class A Driver to transport goods and materials to their destinations within a specified timeframe. The role is fast-paced and physical, requiring attention to the security and quality of the work, as well as strong attendance and reliability. The schedule has early-morning starts, five to six days per week, with times and days that may vary.

The role involves operating pallet trucks and pallet jacks, handling shipping and receiving protocols, and lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Drivers must be able to remain on their feet for extended periods and work in a friendly, team-oriented manner with a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Previous tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean driving record and clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
• Valid Massachusetts DOT Medical Card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to operate pallet trucks; ability to operate pallet jacks or willingness to be trained.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for long periods.
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude.
• Reliable attendance.
• Ability to pass random drug and alcohol screenings.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials to their destinations within a specified timeframe.
• Operate pallet trucks and pallet jacks; training on pallet jacks may be available.
• Follow shipping and receiving protocols, including bills of lading and manifests.
• Maintain the security and quality of work.
• Perform some heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds.
