CDL Class A Driver - Operator
About The Position
Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Class A Driver - Operator who is looking for a career to be home nightly, including weekends. This role involves being hands-on, working outdoors, and driving in a safety-first culture. The position offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of safely handling explosives, including inventory, loading, unloading, and transporting product. Drivers will also operate MMU's (Mobile Manufacturing Unit) and learn the technical aspects of staging product in the field at customer job sites. The role is predominantly local/regional with periodic Over-The-Road (OTR) travel. The ideal candidate enjoys driving but also wants a balance of being hands-on, boots on the ground, and staying active, with the ability to lift 50 lbs. This is a Monday-Friday position.
Requirements
- CDL Class A with Tanker/Hazmat endorsements.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work Monday - Friday.
