About The Position

Austin Powder Company is seeking a CDL Class A Driver - Operator who is looking for a career to be home nightly, including weekends. This role involves being hands-on, working outdoors, and driving in a safety-first culture. The position offers the opportunity to learn all aspects of safely handling explosives, including inventory, loading, unloading, and transporting product at local distribution centers and customer job sites. The driver will also operate MMU's (Mobile Manufacturing Unit) and learn the technical aspects of staging product in the field at customer job sites. This role is predominantly local/regional with periodic OTR, and offers job satisfaction through a full day's work, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

CDL Class A with Tanker/Hazmat endorsements.
Clean driving record (consideration will be given to CDL holders needing endorsements).
Ability to lift 50#.
Must be able to work Monday - Friday.

Nice To Haves

Interest in learning all aspects of safely handling explosives.
Interest in operating MMU's and learning technical aspects of staging product.

Responsibilities
