About The Position

AE Dairy, a family-owned company with nearly a century of experience providing premium dairy products to Iowa families, is seeking route delivery drivers for a long-term career opportunity. This position focuses on business-to-business deliveries in the Des Moines metropolitan area and Central Iowa, with no overnight travel required, allowing drivers to sleep at home every night. The role emphasizes safe driving, customer service, and a commitment to the AE Brand.

Requirements

• Valid and current CDL Class A.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be authorized to work in the USA (AE Dairy does not sponsor non-citizen work visas).
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis and be able to push/ pull heavy carts of product.
• Must learn and employ a system to organize and manage product loads.
• Must prioritize deliveries that meet the needs of our customers no matter the obstacles.
• Must demonstrate customer-focused professionalism in all interactions with customers and the general public.
• Must show enthusiasm for and a strong commitment to the AE Brand.
• Successfully pass a pre-employment physical, drug screen, physical capacity test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide delivery service to customers in the Des Moines metropolitan area and Central Iowa.
• Demonstrate safe driving practices.
• Comply with all Department of Transportation (DOT) Regulations, company policies and procedures.
• Lift 50 lbs. on a routine basis and push/pull heavy carts of product.
• Learn and employ a system to organize and manage product loads.
• Prioritize deliveries to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrate customer-focused professionalism in all interactions.
