Join ABC Companies as a Part-Time CDL Bus Driver and play an important role in delivering new motorcoaches to our Florida operations. In this flexible, on-call position, you'll transport newly imported Van Hool coaches from the Port of Brunswick, Georgia, to our Winter Garden facility for pre-delivery inspection, while also supporting SVT transportation needs throughout the region. Requirements

Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsement required.
Class A CDL with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements also acceptable.
Clean driving record that meets company insurability standards and successfully passes the company's Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
Ability to pass a DOT-compliant pre-employment drug screening.
On-call availability with flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and extended delivery assignments as operational needs require.
Safe operation of commercial buses and motorcoaches.
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
Ability to perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Mechanical awareness with the ability to recognize and report vehicle defects.
Effective route planning, navigation, and trip management.
Strong communication skills with dispatch, operations, and customers.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Professionalism and accountability while representing ABC Companies.
Strong time management and reliability.
Safety-focused mindset with excellent judgment and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2–3 years operating commercial buses, motorcoaches, or other large commercial vehicles preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely transport motorcoaches and commercial buses between ports, manufacturers, customer locations, and ABC Companies facilities.
Support Georgia Van Hool port pickups, SVT pickup and delivery operations, and other transportation assignments as needed.
Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with DOT regulations and company standards.
Complete all required documentation accurately, including inspection reports, delivery confirmations, and vehicle condition reports.
Communicate proactively with dispatch and operations regarding delivery status, route changes, delays, mechanical concerns, or safety issues.
Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
Operate company vehicles responsibly while protecting company assets and maintaining a professional appearance.
Represent ABC Companies professionally while interacting with customers, manufacturers, ports, vendors, and business partners.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
